Happy Tails Group Walks

Happy Tails Group Dog Walk

Hello one and all! Come and join us for a group walk at Coffenbury Lake in Fort Stevens (Bring $5 for parking.)  Reactive dogs that you can reasonably control on a leash (with a yellow ribbon on leash) are welcome. Please bring a muzzle if you feel that your dog might bite another dog or person; this is non-negotiable!) as well as those just looking to improve their walking skills or those just looking for a social outing with their dogs!

All dogs must be on a standard leash! (No retractable leashes allowed.) Please, as a rule, do not just approach every dog on leash; ask each owner first before you even consider approaching their dog in case the dog is not comfortable being approached!

Please be respectful and pick up after your dogs! Bring bags with you 🙂

Also, if you are interested in doing so, I will be offering AKC CGC testing and/or AKC Trick Dog testing at the end of the walk if you think your dog might be ready for one or both. Cost is $5 per dog being tested. You must inform me prior to the conclusion of the walk if you would like to do the test.

Happy Tails Group Dog Walk

Hello one and all! Come and join us for a group walk at the Seaside 4th of July parade (We will be staged on Necanicum at #22. We need to be staged by no later than 10:30, so I am asking people to show up around 10 to account for things like traffic and pottying dogs.) Dogs are welcome if you feel that they won’t over stress (no dogs that are easily shut down around crowds or sounds!) You are also welcome to join without your dog if you would like to walk with us and not stress out your dog! I will also need people that would be willing to hold an Arnicadia banner at the front of the group. If you are willing to do this, please comment on the event so I know who to be expecting 🙂

All dogs must be on a standard leash and a collar or harness that they cannot escape from! (No retractable leashes allowed.) Reactive dogs that you can reasonably control on a leash (with a yellow ribbon on leash) are welcome. For this particular walk, I would highly advise against lots of socializing in case of sounds that might cause some dogs to get scared!

Please be respectful and pick up after your dogs! Bring bags and plenty of water with you. Also, please be an advocate for your dog, if you come and your dog is too stressed to walk the parade, I will not be upset if you need to leave as this will be a rather long waiting game 🙂

No CGC testing available at this walk. Please let me know if you need an arnicadia t-shirt or a happy tails t-shirt so you will have it before the walk (cost is $10-15 and you can order from arnicadia.com!)
