If interested please contact me either by e-mail (arnicadia@gmail.com,) on my main Facebook page (Cati Foss,) or at 503-468-2559 (text and voicemail accepted,) so I can send you an enrollment form and get some information about you and your pooch! My class size is limited to 10 dogs only and on a first come first served basis! You must send me a completed enrollment form before the 2nd to guarantee a spot!
Make sure that you bring your standard leash (retractable leashes are not allowed,) plenty of training treats and a slightly hungry dog that is willing to learn as well as making sure I can see a copy of your dog’s current vaccinations! All dogs must remain in a car or crate at all times when not being worked!
As a note, this class is a foundational starting point for those interested in Rally Obedience either recreationally or competitively! Rally obedience (also known as Rally or Rally-O) is a dog sport based on obedience. Unlike regular obedience, instead of waiting for the judge’s orders, the competitors proceed around a course of designated stations with the dog in heel position. The course consists of 10 to 20 signs that instruct the team what to do. Unlike traditional obedience, handlers are allowed to encourage their dogs during the course.
All dogs are welcome as they will not be allowed to interact at any point in time. People reactive dogs must be wearing a muzzle to participate!
