This rally class will last for 1 hour per session and will meet 5 weeks in a row to work on novice/intermediate/ or Advanced/Excellent or Master level rally obedience (Advanced/Excellent and Master is only available to those who have completed Manners/Obedience 3 or with Trainer approval.) Cost is $150 for all 5 sessions due before the start of class.

Class is held in the fenced field beside Astoria Animal Hospital in the Lewis and Clark area of Astoria.

If interested please complete a registration form on arnicadia.com. All questions should be directed to my e-mail (arnicadia@gmail.com,) my main page (Cati Foss,) or my phone 503-468-2559 (text and voicemail accepted!) My class size is limited to 6 dogs only and on a first come first served basis!

Make sure that you bring your standard leash (retractable leashes are not allowed,) a collar or halter (chest harnesses not recommended!,) plenty of training treats and a slightly hungry dog that is willing to learn as well as making sure I can get a copy of your dog's current vaccinations if I don’t already have them on file! Please bring a crate or place to work on settling between turns! You may use sit on the dog between turns if desired or walk around away from the course.

As a note, this class is a foundational starting point for those interested in AKC/ASCA Rally Obedience either recreationally or competitively! Rally obedience (also known as Rally or Rally-O) is a dog sport based on obedience. Unlike regular obedience, instead of waiting for the judge's orders, the competitors proceed around a course of designated stations with the dog in heel position. The course consists of 10 to 20 signs that instruct the team what to do.

All non-aggressive dogs are welcome as they will not be allowed to interact at any point in time.
