Scent Work

Tracking Level 2

This tracking class will last for 1 hour per session at a private residence in Astoria. This group will meet 4 Mondays in a row (7/10-7/31) to work on adding to the scent work for ground tracking skills from the Intro Class. Additionally, we will be introducing scent articles and how to work with them. Cost is $150 (per dog) for all 4 sessions due on or before the 10th.

If interested please complete a registration form on arnicadia.com. All questions should be directed to my e-mail (arnicadia@gmail.com,) my main page (Cati Foss,) or my phone 503-468-2559 (text and voicemail accepted!) My class size is limited to 10 dogs only and on a first come first served basis! You must send me a completed enrollment form before the 10th to be guaranteed a spot!

Make sure that you bring your standard leash or a long line that you don’t mind getting dirty (retractable leashes are not allowed,) a non-corrective collar or harness your dog CAN’T escape from as well as an additional collar or harness that you normally walk them in, plenty of training treats and a slightly hungry dog that is willing to learn as well as making sure I can see a copy of your dog’s current vaccinations! All dogs must remain in a car or crate at all times when not being worked!

As a note, this class is a foundational starting point for tracking or just for a fun activity for you and your dog! All dogs are welcome as they will not be allowed to interact at any point in time, human reactive dogs must wear a muzzle at all times while being worked.
